Announcing the Winners of the Safely Home Contest

For those who would still like to read the book, starting today and through the month of March, Safely Home will be available at the EPM website for the special sale price of $7.00, discounted from $11.19.
In addition to the randomly drawn winners, we chose to send Safely Home to some other worthy commenters. I’ll let Randy explain:
I read all the comments submitted for the drawing, and really enjoyed them. They were very encouraging. Every once in a while I felt led by the Lord to give away an extra copy of the book to someone. So I’m taking the liberty, in addition to the three winners who were drawn, to give signed books to Kendra, Ashley Weis, Robin, Joann Harrison, and Penny Dorsey. I guess that makes eight winners instead of three. Thanks again for everyone who entered. I look forward to giving away lots more books in the future.Thanks for those words, Randy. Wow, I am blessed. Thank you. It nearly brought tears to my eyes when I found out you chose me as an extra. Right now I'm having a rough time and just seeing how amazing God is, and how He works through people (like you), is such a blessing.
I am thankful beyond words, Randy. You are a blessing. Hopefully one day I'll run into you at a conference, and if not, I'll see you when we're up there with the King of Kings.

I didn't get posted in time but just want to share I recently finished reading "Safely Home" and passed it on to my Mom so she can read it. I confess that I had the book sitting in my house for over a year before I read it. I would pick it up, leaf through it and read something else. If I'd only known, I'd never waited so long to read it. It is powerful and so very humbling. I've purchased several copies and donated to local libraries as I have done with many of your books. And I'm going to take advantage of the great sale price and order some more to pass around!

This is a great idea to get more people reading and checking the blog.
I've just finished Safely Home for the third time since I've owned it. I need it to remember to pray for the persecuted church, especially China now with the Olympics coming. I also have sent my dear husband to unstable countries. Randy, your writing inspires me to continue reaching for the eternal perspective needed to release him, as he was/is never "mine" but a gift. May the winners be blessed and stretched by the book as I have over the years.
I have given away so many of your books over the years that it would be fun to win one! My favorite is Heaven, which made me yearn for eternity and removed all fear of death. My second favorite is Lord Foulgrin's Letters, that made Satan's work in the world so understandable to me and then Money, Possessions and Eternity. My income has dramatically increased since I read that book and started giving 30% and for the past few years 40% of gross to the Lord's work. Thanks to letting the Lord change my life through your books. Helen
